Playing video games increases aggression in some children and young adults and normalizes killing, some doctors said.
This ridiculous news story from Omaha's renowned (kidding) KETV is more of the same crap that's been spewing from the mouths of journalists since video games have moved beyond 8 pixels per screen. Beyond that loaded opening above, this amateurish article goes on to make lame points and vague connections between violent games and violent behavior in children and young adults. To counter, we've written our own counter-argument.
Video Games Cure Cancer
Some researchers have proven that video games have powerful curing abilities. From cancer to AIDS to unhappiness, games across the world have been curing illnesses since they were first reported to cause violent behavior. Gamers are able to kill zombies, become pro football players, and drive cars at over 250 MPH without scraping the paint. These studies reveal that violent games especially are able to rearrange the gamer's molecules and make a more perfect human being.
There, that's just about up to the same journalistic crap-ass quality as the KETV article.
Shitheads.
